Rabanne

The French fashion house now known as Rabanne was established in 1966 by Spanish-born designer Francisco Rabaneda Cuervo, who became widely known as Paco Rabanne. His family left Spain during the Civil War, and he was raised in Paris, where he trained as an architect. Rabanne entered the fashion world by creating jewelry for other labels before venturing into garment design. He swiftly gained recognition for his avant-garde creations incorporating unexpected materials, including metal links and paper, establishing a reputation for radical innovation in fashion.
