Domitille Michalon Bertier

Domitille Michalon Bertier was born in Paris and traces her earliest olfactory memories to two years spent in the tropical islands of Vanuatu during childhood. She studied chemistry and then trained at ISIPCA from 1992 to 1994, joining IFF as an intern that same year. She rose steadily through the company, becoming a Senior Perfumer in 2007 and eventually head of the perfumers at IFF in 2021.

Her portfolio includes co-creating the landmark Viktor&Rolf Flowerbomb alongside Olivier Polge and Carlos Benaïm, as well as Van Cleef & Arpels Midnight in Paris and Marc Jacobs Perfect.
