Sylvain Cara

Sylvain Cara is a French perfumer who trained under the mentorship of Patricia de Nicolaï, granddaughter of Jean-Paul Guerlain, while simultaneously studying biology in Spain. He is the founder of Kupirijo, an artisan perfumery studio established in the historic center of Narbonne, France. The name derives from the ancient Greek kupirijos, the experts in the art of composing scents.

At Kupirijo, he creates perfumes as works of art, combining daring ingredient associations with a philosophy rooted in natural and sensual perfumes in the French tradition. He has also worked with MG Gülçiçek International Fragrance Company in Istanbul.
