Rodrigo Flores-Roux

Rodrigo Flores-Roux was born in 1969 in Mexico City, where an early fascination with flowers and scent shaped his artistic sensibility. He studied biology in Mexico before moving to France at age 20 to attend ISIPCA in Versailles, where he completed an internship under Jean-Claude Ellena. He began his career at Givaudan in 1991, initially working on cosmetic fragrances before achieving his major breakthrough with Clinique Happy in 1997.

Over the course of his career he has created more than 200 fragrances for brands including Tom Ford, Dolce & Gabbana, John Varvatos, and Estée Lauder, earning multiple FiFi Awards and induction into the Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame. He currently serves as Senior Perfumer and Vice President of Fragrance Creation at Givaudan.
