Nicolas Bonneville
Nicolas Bonneville discovered his fascination with perfumery at the age of twelve during a trip to Grasse and pursued the craft with unusual focus from that point forward. He studied at ISIPCA in Versailles, graduating in 2009, and received mentorship from Grasse perfumer Jacques Maurel. His early development was further shaped by working alongside Francis Kurkdjian and Françoise Caron at Takasago, which he joined at the age of 21. He later moved to Fragrance Resources in 2014, and then joined Firmenich in 2018.
At Firmenich, Bonneville has built a reputation as one of the most inventive perfumers of his generation. He has created fragrances for Givenchy, Jo Malone London, Dries Van Noten, and Avon. He received particular recognition for his collaboration with Jaeger-LeCoultre's Made of Makers program, and in 2024 he was honored by the Fragrance Foundation France in the Niche category.
