Marypierre Julien is a French perfumer who grew up in the south of France, where the scent of lavender in Provençal landscapes became a defining sensory memory. She graduated from ISIPCA in 1997 and trained under Jean-Louis Sieuzac and Bertrand Duchaufour at Symrise before joining Quest International in 1998. When Givaudan acquired Quest, she became part of Givaudan's global fine fragrance team and now holds the position of Senior Perfumer.
Julien has created and contributed to fragrances for Lancôme, Chloé, Calvin Klein, Elizabeth Arden, L'Occitane, Victoria's Secret, and the niche house pH Fragrances, among many others.
