Maïa Lernout is a French perfumer who discovered her passion for scent after leaving Paris to live in the south of France. She studied at ISIPCA and was selected by Robertet for her apprenticeship. She continued training at Créations Aromatiques and Kao before returning to Biolandes in 2006, working in the heart of the Landes pine forest.
Now a senior perfumer at Takasago in France, Lernout has collaborated with Kenzo, Elie Saab, Nina Ricci, Burberry, Givenchy, and Molton Brown. Her notable creations include Elie Saab Le Parfum Essentiel and Givenchy Gentleman Society.
