Leonardo Lucheze is a Brazilian-born perfumer based in France whose path to fragrance was shaped by a childhood encounter with lavender at a traditional Brazilian Festa Junina festival. He pursued pharmacy studies before specializing in aromatherapy at the Pacific Institute in California in 2020. In 2022 he joined the Paris fine fragrance team at Takasago International, where he honed his craft under the influence of Jean-Claude Ellena's minimalist philosophy.
His work explores sensory contrasts — pairing the freshness of cardamom against the warmth of nutmeg — and he has contributed to projects for brands including Masakï Matsushïma and Jacques Bogart.
