Gaël Montero

Gaël Montero is a perfumer at Givaudan with French and Spanish heritage who was raised in Madrid. He studied perfumery at Montpellier University before joining Givaudan as an assistant to Jordi Fernandez in Barcelona. He completed his training at the Givaudan Perfumery School in Paris.

Now based in Givaudan's Dubai office, Montero has developed expertise in oriental notes, oud, and saffron. His notable creations include fragrances for Memo Paris (Madurai and Cappadocia), Attar Collection, Ex Nihilo, and The Merchant of Venice.
