Francis Camail is a French master perfumer and one of the last remaining independent perfumers with a career spanning several decades. He began his career at IFF, then worked at Florasynth (now part of Symrise), and in the early 1990s joined Robertet. He started collaborating with the brand Reminiscence as early as 1970.
Camail's career has produced some of the most iconic fragrances in perfumery history, including Giorgio Beverly Hills, Annick Goutal's Eau d'Hadrien, Ivoire de Balmain, and Estee Lauder Aliage. Based in Grasse, he continues to work with prestigious lines such as House of Sillage and Bond No. 9.
