Daniela Andrier
Daniela Roche Andrier is a German perfumer born in 1964 in Heidelberg. She studied philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris before turning to perfumery, beginning her career as an intern at Chanel in 1988. The following year she enrolled at the Roure Perfumery School in Grasse, now part of Givaudan, where she has remained throughout her career.
Andrier has created fragrances for an extraordinary roster of luxury houses including Prada, Giorgio Armani, Guerlain, Kenzo, and Yves Saint Laurent. Her most celebrated creations include Prada Infusion d'Iris, Calvin Klein Contradiction, Emporio Armani She, and MYSLF by Yves Saint Laurent. In 2025, she received the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award from The Fragrance Foundation USA.
